CHRIST R.I.P. (ROT IN PURGATORY)

The vegan music project known as CHRIST is (and has been for a while now) on indefinite hiatus. This blog will mainly be used for writings, thoughts on veganism, society, etc... If anyone happens across this and IS curious about CHRIST, go to myspace.com/christvegan and listen, you can also check out the videos below... We still have merch available, tapes, t-shirts, canvass patches, cds, all priced at next to nothing, and all made by hand with love. Monsanto is the largest agricultural corporation on the planet, with very deep seated political connections and millions spent on lobbying their interests (being richer and more powerful) each year, at basically, EVERYONE'S expense. They are by every definition of the word EVIL. A quick rundown of Monsanto's track record, lying about the dangers of GM milk in the United States, which is banned in Europe and most other countries. PATENTING LIFE! Patenting seeds and suing farmers across the globe for PATENT violations. Misleading illiterate Indian farmers with the promise of vast cotton yields only to upsell pesticides and sell seeds with the TERMINATOR GENE (extremely dangerous, seeds from the crops yield are useless and cannot be replanted) rendering farmers completely poor leading to an epidemic of farmer suicide in the country. Monsanto is also responsible for some of the most dangerous and toxic chemicals produced in the last 100 years (ie, DDT, Agent Orange). We can all make a difference and fight back by boycotting Monsanto products such as Aspartame (nutrisweet, and products that contain it), Roundup Weed killer, and purchasing produce from local farmers markets and co-ops as often as possible. Also, CHECK LABELS! Try to stick with farmers markets, and local organic foods/produce as much as possible. Stand up for yourself, for stewards of the earth, non-human animals, and for your planet. GREAT TIME

Thanks to everyone who came out to the show last night, everyone in the band had a great fucking time. All the bands were great, and shit was wild. This was by far our best/most fun show yet and we look forward to many more. Props to MF GNAR, Kurt Russel, Bridesmaid, and Bastards, and everyone who partied with us. See you next time.

Statistics show that death rates due to breast cancer are considerably higher in regions with a high dairy consumption! Each glass of milk a woman consumes, on average each day, raises her risk dying from ovarian cancer, by 20%. It's killing you! It's killing me! It's killing your whole fucking family!
